Delete from the app (fastest)
If you still have Logy installed and can sign in, this is the quickest way and takes effect immediately:
- Open Logy and make sure you're signed in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and all of its server-side data are permanently deleted right away, and you are signed out on the device. This cannot be undone.
Delete by request (if you've uninstalled Logy)
If you can no longer open the app or sign in, email us and we'll delete your account for you:
- Write to connect@uselogy.com from the email address associated with your account, or include the phone number you used to sign in.
- Use the subject line “Delete my Logy account” so we can route it quickly.
We verify that the request comes from the account owner, then delete the account and its data. We'll confirm by email once it's done.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes:
- Your account and sign-in identity (phone number, or Google/Apple identifier).
- Your encrypted cloud backup, if you had backup turned on.
- Your sessions, tokens, and app preferences held on our servers.
Notes, photos, voice recordings, and files that live only on your device are removed when you delete the app or clear its data — they are never on our servers unless you enabled encrypted backup.
What we keep, and for how long
When you delete your account, it is removed from our active systems immediately. A small number of items may persist briefly for legal and operational reasons before being purged:
- Encrypted backups — residual copies in our infrastructure's automated backups are purged within 90 days, after which nothing remains.
- Subscription records — anonymised purchase/transaction records held by our payment processors (Google Play / RevenueCat) may be retained only where required by tax and accounting law. These contain no note content.
We do not keep a usable copy of your account or notes after deletion, and nothing is retained beyond the periods above. This mirrors our Privacy Policy.
